THE HISTORY OF FLORIN SQUARE
Nestled within Florin Square, the museum is a cornerstone of a community initiative that is fondly referred to as Sacramento's "Black Wall Street." Established in 2003, the Square has since flourished into a vibrant community hub where business and culture intersect.
A staggering 90 percent of the tenants at Florin Square are black-owned businesses, reflecting a strong spirit of entrepreneurship within the community. The space is a veritable smorgasbord of services and experiences, with everything from retail shops and professional offices to a food bank and a museum.
